Fuel Cell Failure Analysis /Reliability Engineering Intern

Position Summary
Plug Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting in fuel cell failure analysis and reliability engineering.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Returned stack or component analysis.
- Report findings of failure analysis.
- Field reliability data analysis and relation of fuel cell stack reliability and component reliability.
- Electrochemical surface area measurement, data analysis and reporting.
- Stack testing as needed.
- Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology.
- Communication and Collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders.
Education and Qualification
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Material Science or a related program.
- Must have reliable transportation to the office in Slingerlands, New York and/or Latham, New York
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
Estimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
