Sr Principal Engineer - Software

Role and Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.

• Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

• Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

• Cross functional collaboration with infrastructure and network groups

• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.

• Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Skills and Experience:

• Automation experience using Terraform, Python, Shell Scripting, Containers

• Experience with Kubernetes management, helm charts, GitOps, observability pipelines, deployment and networking

• Cloud computing concepts and platforms with a focus on AWS

• Experience with deploying for scale

• Good knowledge of REST APIs, web security, web application stack and patterns, familiarity with compiled languages

• Scripting with Python or Bash

• Database administration preferably with MySql/MariaDB; familiarity with Postgres and a NoSQL database is a plus is nice to have

• Exposure to Pulumi is a plus

• Linux internals and system administration is good to have

• Artifact repositories, container registries, build and package methods used by different language ecosystems

• Cloud service lifecycle management
