Key Responsibilities
Execute purchasing activities for BESS components (electrical, mechanical, electronics, enclosures, cables, and related systems).
Manage purchase order placement and support material planning processes.
Ensure on-time material delivery while optimizing inventory levels.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, and Engineering to understand demand signals, technical specifications, and lead-time constraints.
Maintain accurate purchasing and material master data in ERP systems.
Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, and quality concerns directly with suppliers.
Proactively communicate risks, delays, and potential material shortages to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and MRP accuracy.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in manufacturing, energy storage, electrical, or industrial equipment industries.
Strong understanding of MRP processes and material flow in structured supply chains.
Experience operating within formal procurement environments.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
Experience with NetSuite ERP.
Knowledge of BESS components, power electronics, or electrical systems.
Experience working with international suppliers (EU, China, US).
Basic understanding of Incoterms, logistics processes, and customs requirements.
Who You Are
You take ownership and follow through.
You anticipate risks before they impact production.
You balance cost, quality, and delivery with strong commercial judgment.
You thrive in cross-functional collaboration.
You continuously look for smarter, more scalable procurement solutions.
