Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.
At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.
We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.
Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the core team responsible for launching a new production line. After the start-up phase, you will take full ownership of assigned electrical test stations and processes, ensuring their reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Your role
At the beginning, you will be part of the team responsible for developing and commissioning electrical test systems for a new production line.
Once the line is operational, you will take the role of test process owner, responsible for the stability, capability, and performance of assigned electrical test equipment and processes — with a strong focus on OEE and production sustainability.
Your responsibilities
Define and develop electrical test equipment and process requirement specifications
Play a key role in production line launch and ramp-up, achieving targeted MSA and process capabilities
Lead equipment fine-tuning, debugging, and test adjustments during commissioning and ramp-up phases
Review Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and identify manufacturing risks
Translate product electrical requirements into robust manufacturing test processes
Design and implement new testing technologies to improve performance and reduce equipment consumable usage
Support production ramp-up by ensuring machine capability, process capability, and measurement system analysis (MSA)
Define process validation guidelines and lead commissioning activities during FAT and SAT
Own and drive development of Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, defect descriptions, and reaction matrices
Characterize electrical tests, define critical parameters, and establish monitoring using SPC
Execute Design of Experiments to optimize test conditions and improve production KPIs
Train test and maintenance technicians
Ensure and promote 5S standards within the production environment
Support capital improvement projects related to test equipment and production performance
What we are looking for
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or similar field)
4+ years of experience in electrical or battery testing within a manufacturing environment
Experience with high-voltage testing and understanding of Li-Ion battery protection fundamentals
Proven experience developing and implementing electrical test processes in production
Experience writing technical documentation, including:
requirement specifications
functional designs
test cases and test records
validation protocols
Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software systems
Passion for solving complex technical problems in simple and innovative ways
Quality- and customer-oriented mindset
Experience working in multicultural environments within industries such as battery, electronics, semiconductor, or automotive
Technical skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S
Problem solving using 8D methodology and Ishikawa diagrams
Strong experience with NI LabVIEW and/or NI TestStand and/or MATLAB
Programming knowledge in Python, C, C++, C#, or SQL
Understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, RS-232
Familiarity with test scripting languages and automated test stations (e.g., Keysight BTI, Teradyne)
What will make you successful in this role
You are the kind of engineer who enjoys working where hardware, software, and manufacturing meet.
You can move seamlessly between test architecture design, debugging electronics, analyzing data, and improving production performance.
And you believe that the best test system is the one that not only detects problems — but helps prevent them.
Factory is located at Gdańsk, Stogi.
Min. salary for this position starts at 10 000 PLN gross.
