Job Description:

About the Position

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and long-term performance of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position focuses on delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and technical support to customers, while actively managing contractors and collaborating with internal teams to drive safety, quality, and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customer Operations Teams to provide timely, professional, and effective responses to service needs.

  • Deliver onsite diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands‑on technical support for BESS equipment.

  • Supervise third‑party service contractors to ensure safe execution of both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

  • Report to the Taiwan Services Leader on daily tasks to ensure all LTSA deliverables are met and risks are proactively mitigated.

  • Collaborate with internal teams — including 24/7 Remote Monitoring, Performance Analysts, Deployment, and Product Development — to drive continuous improvement and customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Wind, Solar, or industrial/utility O&M.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for daily collaboration with regional and global teams.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple overlapping projects and resolve scheduling conflicts with stakeholders.

  • Experience managing contractors within a matrix organization.

  • Knowledge of inverters, batteries, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and network/control systems is a plus.
