Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

At Lyten Poland, we design and build next-generation battery systems that power the future of clean energy and electrification. Our work sits at the intersection of advanced materials, intelligent design, and real-world impact. We are looking for an Electromechanical Engineer who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to help shape battery systems from concept to production.

As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electromechanical development of battery systems, including modules, packs, racks, and the Main Electronic Box. You will work across the full product lifecycle—from early concept development to production—ensuring safe, manufacturable, and high-performance designs.

You will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to understand product use cases and requirements, translating them into robust electromechanical solutions that meet performance, safety, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively interact with customers to understand product use cases and requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle

  • Support early product concept development and architecture definition

  • Design and integrate high-voltage and low-voltage harness routing and fastening from concept to production, with strong focus on safety, serviceability, and producibility

  • Develop high-voltage routing and busbar systems, ensuring compliance with creepage and clearance requirements

  • Package and integrate HV and LV electrical components, considering EMC, ventilation, condensation, safety, serviceability, and manufacturing constraints

  • Perform mechanical design of protective enclosures and support systems for electronic components and harnesses (metallic and plastic), accounting for mechanical loads and vibration

  • Design protective enclosures to safeguard against environmental impacts and contamination

  • Apply design-for-manufacturing and cost-optimization principles

  • Support electrical and system engineers in preparing schematics and formboard drawings

  • Support interface selection (connectors, switches, indicators, etc.) to ensure system requirements are fulfilled

  • Create technical drawings for customers and manufacturing

  • Support product and documentation release in Teamcenter

  • Participate in prototyping and validation of designed components

Requirements

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience, including exposure to cell integration, structural integration, power electronics, or high-performance lithium-ion batteries

  • Experience with plastic parts and injection molding

  • Experience with various mechanical joining methods

  • Strong hands-on CAD skills

  • Excellent analytical skills, particularly in design for safety, production, and serviceability

  • Experience working in international teams and with customers

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Experience from a start-up environment is a strong plus

Skills & ways of working

  • Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines with strong time management

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to operate in a high-visibility, fast-paced, international start-up environment

  • Flexible, quality-focused, friendly, and motivated to take on new challenges

  • Resilient, persistent, and equipped with a sense of humor

What makes you successful at Lyten

  • Passionate and purpose-driven

  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Strong “can-do” attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Comfortable owning problems and driving solutions forward
