We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for Lyten Poland who will take full responsibility for AP processes, ensure operational excellence, and actively contribute to process optimization within a dynamic production environment. As an AP Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting smooth business operations. You’ll work cross-functionally, collaborate with stakeholders, and help drive improvements within the Accounts Payable function.

What you’ll do

  • Lead small improvement initiatives within the Accounts Payable Team (including report creation based on supervisor guidance)

  • Process and post PO and non-PO vendor invoices in ERP, ensuring accurate coding to GL accounts and cost centers

  • Verify invoice accuracy and ensure timely payments

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and manage issue resolution to closure

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for AP accounts

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Monitor and manage AP workflow to ensure efficiency and compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date vendor and AP records in the accounting system

  • Collaborate with internal departments to support production plan execution

  • Support transition processes from various entities

  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance

  • Experience working with ERP systems

  • Knowledge of NetSuite is welcome

  • Fluency in English and Polish (must have)

Skills

  • Knowledge of Polish tax regulations is welcome

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)

  • Ability to interpret and apply technical accounting guidance accurately and thoughtfully

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

The minimum salary for this position starts at 8,000 PLN gross.
