ACCIONA Energia is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to join a skilled team dedicated to maintaining wind turbines and their surrounding facilities. This role involves assembly, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance of turbine generators and related equipment while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Conduct safety analyses and adhere to industry regulations and established protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with safety and operational standards
- Accurately document all maintenance activities to track turbine performance and operational trends
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures
- Support root cause analyses for equipment failures
- Collaborate with engineers and field teams to improve turbine reliability and efficiency
Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications:
- Hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong technical skills and a commitment to safety.
- Experience working with hand and power tools and can operate independently while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing 300-foot ladders, and you are comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor environments.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
- Certification in medium and high-voltage equipment is preferred, along with a willingness to travel as needed.

- Base Pay: $28 – $38 (based on experience, education, and skillset) plus on-call pay
- 5% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics) and 5% Availability Bonus
