Job Description
Position Overview
As a Wind Technician II, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field activities, following company policies, safety protocols, and technical standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and technical standards, following established guidelines and contributing to safe field operations
Conduct safety inspections and proactively report any risks or non-conformities, following established procedures
Actively participate in safety dialogues and record at least two monthly observations in Intelex, with support from the technical team
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision, according to instructions received
Assist and support commissioning processes and major component replacements
Maintain work area organization and contribute to the continuous application of 5S principles
Accurately record activities performed in forms or systems, as instructed
Take care of tools, PPE, and materials provided, ensuring proper use
Collaborate with more experienced technicians, seeking continuous learning and technical development
Demonstrate collaborative behavior, respecting leadership and contributing to a positive work environment
Assist in onboarding new team members by providing basic guidance under supervision
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with wind turbines, performing/leading preventive maintenance and actively participating in corrective maintenance
Completed technical training in electrical, mechanical, or related fields, with active CFT registration
Strong communication skills
Availability to work at heights, under adverse weather conditions, and in high-pressure environments
Valid National Driver’s License (CNH) category B
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and demonstrate operational discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Familiarity with different wind turbine platforms
Experience with commissioning or major corrective actions (desirable)
Basic English proficiency
