About the Role:
- Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to oversee the execution of our internal logistics and transportation operations. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of materials, tooling, and finished goods across Archer’s facilities and suppliers, while providing oversight for select logistics projects that enable scale and efficiency.
- As part of the Supply Chain Operations team, you will manage day-to-day transportation activities, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external carriers, and drive projects that enhance Archer’s logistics infrastructure. This position requires strong operational discipline, vendor management skills, and the ability to balance tactical execution with process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily internal logistics operations, including transportation planning, scheduling, and execution across Archer sites and suppliers
- Manage carrier relationships (LTL, FTL, parcel, and specialty transport) to ensure performance, compliance, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate material and tooling movements to support production, test, and R&D operations
- Provide oversight for logistics projects such as new carrier onboarding, route optimization, and internal transportation process improvements
- Develop and track key logistics performance indicators (OTD, cost per move, service quality) and escalate issues when necessary
- Partner with Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to align logistics activities with production and program milestones
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements for all logistics movements
- Contribute to the development of Archer’s internal logistics playbook, capturing best practices and standard operating procedures
- Support cross-functional initiatives to improve visibility, reduce cost, and mitigate transportation risk
What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics operations, or supply chain execution
- Proven ability to manage carriers and third-party logistics providers across multiple transportation modes
- Strong knowledge of domestic freight (LTL/FTL, parcel, flatbed, and specialty transport), including regulatory requirements
- Hands-on experience supervising logistics operations and troubleshooting shipment issues under time pressure
- Excellent communication, planning, and vendor management skills
- Ability to analyze transportation performance data and drive process improvements
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing and R&D environment
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience supporting aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing logistics operations
- Familiarity with DOT/PHMSA hazardous materials transport requirements
- Knowledge of ERP or TMS systems for logistics execution and reporting
- Experience managing project-based logistics (facility moves, equipment relocations, special builds)

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $110,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
