The Warehouse associate will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse as well as managing all shipping and receiving for the Edison, NJ facility.
Accountable for all articles either shipped or received at the Edison facility. Works with Eos’s accounting software to ensure that proper documentation exists for incoming and outgoing materials, as well as maintaining the order of the warehouse areas.
Ensure proper and timely receipt of all receivables to the facility. Work within Netsuite software and properly document through Purchase Order and/or packing slips that orders are complete and in good condition.
Notify recipients that packages are received and ready for pick up in the receiving area.
Pack, label, and ship outgoing packages, ensuring adherence to shipping regulations and guidelines
Generating shipping documents for outgoing material, and working with Eos’s logistics team on Freight shipments
Review material storage requirements across Edison departments and maintain an organized and orderly warehouse space for the storage of Eos inventory as well as project deliverables and in house testing hardware.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse area, ensuring incoming shipments are properly labeled and stored
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Certification must be achieved to perform this essential function of the job.
Coordinate pickup and waste management services for the disposal of bulk warehouse items
Assemble and maintain warehouse fixtures and storage
Follow safety guidelines to prevent workplace accidents
Assist other staff in the Edison facility as required
Experience in logistics, retail, or warehouse operations.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Prior Forklift certification preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Netsuite experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse or shipping and receiving setting

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
