ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position contributes to the company’s success by ensuring an efficient treasury structure to support its regional operations. The Treasury Lead will support Treasury operations for Fluence’s businesses in Asia Pacific and Europe and will report to the Treasury Manager – Asia Pacific and Europe with a dotted line report to the Director, Treasury & Commercial Finance Europe, and will work in close collaboration with the global treasury team. This position will work Europe office hours.

As Treasury Lead, you will:

• Prepare short term and long term cashflow forecasts at project, legal entity and regional level; work with FP&A, Tax, Controllers, Commercial Finance Managers and Project Finance Managers to validate forecasts and explain variances vs actuals
• Use SAP and SAC Analytics Cloud to automate cashflow forecast reporting
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting of treasury dashboards and KPIs
• Daily cash operations including monitoring bank account balances and ensure sufficient cash for AP & T&E payments, payroll, Tax, statutory and intercompany transactions
• Ensure sufficient balances in required currencies and execute FX spot trades as required
• Manage bank accounts including bank KYC, account openings and closures, signatory updates, user access and bank system administration
• Monitor time deposit placements and maturities
• Perform SOX control testing for treasury processes
• Contribute to global treasury projects

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 4+ years work experience in treasury and cash management
• Proactive, highly curious and driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with stakeholders across functions and countries
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP S4HANA, SAP Treasury and FXAll
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
