Meet the team:
The Solution Design team leads early Glydways system concepts for project pursuits worldwide. We evaluate sites and corridors and develop alignments that support the mobility goals of our customers and partners. The team works hand in hand with our product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to translate system operating criteria and technical requirements into site‑specific solutions, including 2D plans and 3D assets for space planning and visualization. We also develop visuals and documentation that help our commercial partners understand how the Glydways system operates. You’ll work with planners, designers, engineers, and commercial leads to shape proposals that are both technically grounded and visually compelling.
The Role:
The Transit Systems Designer role leads early system planning for pursuits, turning site and corridor analysis into viable Glydways alignments and facility concepts. This position evaluates site-specific constraints, opportunities, and customer priorities into clear options that can be evaluated, priced, and communicated to our customers and partners.
Operating at the intersection of planning and design, the Transit Systems Designer is proficient with 2D & 3D planning, modeling, & drafting tools to develop at-grade, elevated, or below-grade guideways, access points (stations), and supporting facilities. This includes preparation of alignment maps, coordinating ridership & capacity studies with team members to size access points and facilities, creating site plans, cross sections, quantity take-offs, and developing graphics and narratives that support project pursuits. The position is intended for candidates with 5+ years of experience who enjoy combining spatial problem‑solving, visual communication, and cross‑functional collaboration in a pursuit‑driven environment.
