Department Overview

Our service organization keeps our fleet of energy servers generating power for our customers. Field service technicians are provided training and documentation to support our fleet. The training team is developing material that takes advantage of the current technology. We’re looking for an undergraduate intern to join our team. This role will report to a Senior Director and is based on-site.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and production of training videos and podcasts and other training material
  • Develop, test and trial user interface (UI/UX) for learning
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing assets for a Learning Management System
  • Produce static and animated content for learning aids
  • Learn and research AI capabilities for integration into training content

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic engineering, UI/UX, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027

Desired Qualifications

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
  • Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred experience with Linear Media Editors (Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas, Apple Final Cut Pro) and supporting/supplemental tools (After effects, Audition/Audacity, Photoshop)
  • Additionally, Blender/Maya/Solidworks experience is a plus
  • Experience with Podcast/Streaming/Vlog production. (Willing to learn if lacking)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, and successfully maintaining an above average GPA (preferably 3.0 or higher)

Salary Statement with pay range
Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.

Salary Ranges:

$36.00 - $39.00
