We are looking for a Training Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, Manufacturing and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver training content. Create and maintain technical training programs (instructor-led, eLearning, blended) tailored to different departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, New Product Development, Supply Chain). Conduct training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for technical staff. Oversee third-party trainers as needed. Collaborate with group leaders and stakeholders to identify skills gaps and training needs using surveys, interviews, and performance data.
  • Develop and maintain a robust training record system. Bloom needs a way to efficiently and effectively maintain training records, both for what training is required and what training each employee has received for hundreds of employees.
  • Develop training materials. This would include working with the teams to help them create and maintain proper standardized work, creating training courses on different topics that could help Bloom’s processes be more efficient, and creating/sourcing the proper training materials such as books, videos, presentations/seminars, classes, AR / VR content etc. to help develop our team and allow them to reach their full potential.
  • Develop the proper onboarding “package” so that we can ensure that from the first day our team members are hearing the same consistent message and that they quickly introduced to the culture we are striving to achieve at Bloom.
  • Develop and maintain a training metric. This would help us assess and evaluate Bloom’s continuous improvement and training programs. This will also allow Bloom to determine which areas need improvement or further development.

Skills and Experience:

  • BS degree in a technical discipline or related field preferred
  • 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in technical training and instructional design required
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into accessible training content for a wide range of audiences
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Strong ability to partner cross functionally and engage subject matter experts for training content development or delivery
  • Highly effective presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for training record keeping
  • Development and deployment of a Learning Management System

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements (optional):

  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

Salary Ranges:

$93,500.00 - $134,500.00
