Job Description Summary:

Implement, maintain and support SOLVโ€™s Operations and Control Center server infrastructure, within our on Prem environment. Collaborate with the IT/OT groups, to schedule updates, align on documentation best practices and building of a knowledgebase to support continuous improvement and growth.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Implement, and maintain Operation and Control Center system infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and processes

  • Perform Configuration management, reporting solution / logging, services, software, and firmware for all assets.

  • Participate in planning, implementation, management and continuous improvement of the business technologies services, systems, and processes

  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation

  • Determine opportunities and threats to current practices through analysis of current trends and assess our strengths and weaknesses

  • Support Operations and Control Center afterhours issues that impact ability to perform duties.

  • Adhere to a culture of NERC Compliance and Governance with respect to patch management, change control policies and procedures, documentation, and training.

  • Support Disaster Recovery, Backup, and retention policies.

  • Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 3 Years of experience as a Jr. System Administrator or equivalent

  • Knowledge of applicable industry cyber security frameworks and compliance including NERC CIP and NIST a bonus but not required

  • Microsoft and Linux Administration

  • Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies: Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS, PKI

  • Knowledge of managing Virtual Server Environments including VMWare

  • Knowledge of managing system backups using applications such as CommVault or others.

  • Knowledge of various Cyber Security technologies and processes including but not limited to, TrendMicro, Splunk, and Incident Response

  • Knowledge of server maintenance and patching, using various tools including BigFix or equivalent products.

  • Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting & Automation is preferred.

  • Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills, allowing successful communication with team members and management

  • Demonstrated positive team attitude and ability to interact with diplomacy and tact with internal and external business process partners

$89,873.00 - $112,341.00
