The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, vendor management, and capacity planning within a high-tech or energy-related manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operational execution of OEM suppliers across the U.S., ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets are met.
  • Lead production and capacity planning reviews with suppliers to align with project timelines and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure supplier readiness and alignment with technical requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, material shortages, and logistics challenges.
  • Support sourcing and contract negotiations by providing operational insights and supplier capability assessments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key OEM partners to foster collaboration and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or supplier management, preferably in the energy, automotive, or electronics sectors.
  • Proven experience managing OEMs or contract manufacturers in the U.S., particularly in PCS, TMS, or telecom equipment.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, and supply chain analytics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with BESS technologies and project execution cycles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma or APICS certification is a plus.
