Department Overview

The Business Intelligence team supports members of the Service Department by developing and implementing enhanced analytics and automation into Bloom’s service strategy. This includes tracking fleet performance, working with finance and supply chain forecasting models, developing maintenance plans, and optimizing product performance with industry standard applications and tools. The team is also responsible for databases, reports and visualizations to support Senior-Level reporting requirements.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in predicting demand for spare parts to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Ensure part availability for the Service Department through accurate forecasting.
  • Analyze historical usage data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Utilize forecasting software and statistical models to support inventory planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Quality & Reliability, and Engineering.
  • Contribute to the development of effective spare parts strategies for both high-frequency and low-frequency demand items.
  • Gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, data analytics, and inventory strategy development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, Industrial Engineering or Data Analytics.
  • Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in data analysis and forecasting
  • Proficient in analytical tools like Quick Sight, Tableau, SQL or other data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting projects, applying statistical methods to predict trends and demand.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences.

Salary Statement with pay range
Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.

The pay range for this position $36 - $50 per hour.

Salary Ranges:

$45.75 - $50.00
