Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Superintendent to drive custom manufacturing equipment installations. This role reports to our Senior Manager of Tool Installation. As part of our Form Factory 1 team, you will contribute to bringing our first factory manufacturing lines into production in partnership with Engineering, Operations and Construction teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!


This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt. What you'll do:

  • Plan and direct the installation of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Communicate project status, schedules, and budgets to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Supervise and motivate installation teams, ensuring their safety and that quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate with other departments and suppliers to ensure all materials and equipment are available on site when required.

  • Provide high-level oversight to ensure installations are completed in accordance with contracts, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.

  • Provide technical support to the installation team as needed and ensure that all installations are in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years of managing installations including experience leading and supervising teams OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ experience managing installations

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.

  • Strong technical knowledge, with a deep understanding of installation practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of self-motivation and drive.
