Lucid Motors is seeking a HR Manager/Sr. Human Resources Business Partner supporting our Manufacturing Operations. This role will support all shops within Manufacturing Operations including Logistics and Quality. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches work with vigor and determination.  

 

Human Resources Business Partner – Second Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) 
Location: Casa Grande, AZ 
Department: Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, and Quality 

 

Lucid Motors is seeking a HR Manager/Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to support our fast-paced manufacturing plant during second shift operations. This role will be the sole HR representative onsite from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, providing critical support to Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate is confident in making decisions independently, thrives in ambiguity, and is comfortable working with minimal direction. 

A strong background in employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations is essential for success in this role. 

 

You Will: 

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for second shift, providing real-time support and guidance to employees and frontline leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment 
  • Lead and conduct thorough and timely employee relations investigations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes 
  • Resolve employee conflicts and coach leaders on effective conflict management strategies 
  • Provide HR expertise in performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation 
  • Partner with mid-level managers to implement HR policies and practices aligned with business goals 
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver programs in training, development, and performance 
  • Support core HR processes such as performance calibration, compensation cycles, and promotions 
  • Analyze employee data (e.g., attrition, engagement, disciplinary trends) to identify proactive solutions 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; liaise with Legal as needed 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement across second shift teams 
  • Build morale and foster strong workplace relationships to improve retention and productivity 
  • Manage job requisitions and generate reports within the HRIS system (SuccessFactors) 

 

 

You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred; PHR/SPHR certification a plus 
  • 8+ years of HR experience (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree), with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations 
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization 
  • Experience navigating ambiguous situations and driving clarity through HR leadership. 
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance 
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations preferred; automotive OEM or retail experience a plus 
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for supporting frontline teams.
