Required Education and Experience

• B.Com/M.com/MBA

• 5 - 8years G/L experience

Responsibilities

• Work with other departments to gather and analyze relevant information needed for month end close.

• Review the existing worksheets and prepare journal entries for month end close.

• Perform account analysis to ensure journal entries and balances are correct.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for the assigned GL accounts.

• Gather data and prepare tables or reports for quarterly audits and year end audits.

• Follow the SOX process and gather supporting documentation for controls.

• Work on P&L variance analysis.

• Assist with financial audits with respect to related supporting documentation and reports.

• Performs other duties as needed or assigned by the manager

• Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams.

• Work with Revenue team to ensure revenue are recognized correctly.

• Preparing working file for commission for all the sales employees.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with NetSuite would be preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word etc.)

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail required.
