Leading the future in luxury electric and mobility
At Lucid, we set out to introduce the most captivating, luxury electric vehicles that elevate the human experience and transcend the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.

We plan to lead in this new era of luxury electric by returning to the fundamentals of great design – where every decision we make is in service of the individual and environment. Because when you are no longer bound by convention, you are free to define your own experience.

Come work alongside some of the most accomplished minds in the industry. Beyond providing competitive salaries, we’re providing a community for innovators who want to make an immediate and significant impact. If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.

The Senior Facility Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Lucid’s AMP-2 facility electrical infrastructure. You will design, implement, commission, and maintain medium- and low-voltage electrical systems that power manufacturing operations, building systems, and critical infrastructure. You will lead complex electrical projects, resolve technical challenges, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.

You Will:

  • Lead the design, planning, and optimization of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, backup power, lighting, grounding, and power quality systems.

  • Provide expert technical support during commissioning, operation, and upgrades of facility electrical infrastructure to ensure reliable performance.

  • Oversee engineering standards, specifications, and design reviews to ensure compliance with global best practices and safety regulations.

  • Manage full lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects—from feasibility, budgeting, and planning through execution and close-out.

  • Interface with leadership, contractors, design consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, on-time solutions.

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and energy efficiency.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of electrical system failures and implement corrective and preventive measures.

  • Continuously assess and enhance systems for scalability, redundancy, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability.

  • Ensure compliance with international codes (IEC, NEC, NFPA 70E) and internal EHS protocols.

  • Lead electrical safety programs including arc flash studies, energy isolation (LOTO) procedures, and hazard mitigation practices.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Drive cross-functional training and knowledge sharing to elevate overall facility engineering capabilities.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree in Power Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing facility environments managing electrical infrastructure.

  • Proven track record in electrical system design, commissioning, and maintenance in large-scale operations.

  • Expertise in MV/LV power distribution, switchgear, grounding, protection systems, and power quality.

  • Skilled in design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and SKM Power Tools.

  • Deep understanding of NEC, IEC, NFPA 70E and other global electrical safety codes and standards.

  • Experience implementing preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and performing root cause analysis.

  • Strong project leadership skills, including budget oversight and cross-functional coordination.

  • Familiarity with BMS/SCADA systems, smart facility technologies, and energy efficiency practices.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to mentor and lead teams.

  • Preferred certifications: PE License, PMP, NFPA 70E, LEED AP, or CEM.
