Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Anaplan Model Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated Anaplan models to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational business processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Operations, and IT—to deliver scalable planning solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Design & Development

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Anaplan models for financial planning, workforce planning, sales forecasting, supply chain, or other business functions.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and model-building standards.

  • Optimize existing models for performance, usability, and maintainability.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define use cases.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Anaplan capabilities, guiding stakeholders on best approaches.

  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure smooth data integration and governance.

• Governance & Best Practices

  • Ensure adherence to Anaplan’s best practices in model design, performance tuning, and security.

  • Establish and maintain model documentation, including technical design, data flow, and user guides.

  • Support change management and training initiatives to increase user adoption.

• Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide ongoing support to end users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and enhancements.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve planning efficiency.

  • Stay current with new Anaplan features and industry best practices.

• Qualifications

• Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 5+ years of Anaplan model building experience, including certification as a Certified Model Builder (Master Anaplanner is a plus).

  • Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture, data integrations, and model optimization techniques.

  • Experience working with large datasets and building efficient data hubs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective planning solutions.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred

  • Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), sales operations, or supply chain planning.

  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data integration tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, etc.).

  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
