What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Provide program and portfolio management oversight to ensure the effective support, stability, security, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems and platforms supporting Legal and Human Resource functions.
- Partner closely with Legal and HR leadership to understand business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges; identify opportunities to leverage technology solutions that improve processes, compliance, and workforce effectiveness.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate available technology solutions (e.g., HRIS, talent management, legal matter management, contract lifecycle management), recommend optimal options, and align selections with business needs and industry best practices.
- Lead end-to-end implementation efforts for Legal and HR applications, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and successful deployment.
- Establish and manage processes for ongoing system support, maintenance, upgrades, and data integrity to minimize downtime and ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, managing contracts, deliverables, budgets, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory standards.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in Legal and HR systems to proactively identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Define software strategies and develop product roadmaps to ensure long-term platform viability, scalability, data privacy, and business continuity for Legal and HR domains.
- Manage the domain IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency, financial accountability, and optimal allocation of resources across Legal and HR technology portfolios.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- This role requires 4 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
What you’ll bring

- 10+ years of experience implementing and managing enterprise IT applications, with experience supporting Human Resources and/or Legal business functions strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing IT applications teams, with a focus on collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise IT applications, including experience working with APIs, integrations, identity and access management, and data privacy considerations.
- Preferred experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including one or more modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, or Compensation.
- Experience implementing or supporting HRIS, talent management, compliance, legal matter management, or contract lifecycle management systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts for non-technical Legal and HR stakeholders.
- Experience operating in regulated environments with an understanding of data protection, compliance, and audit requirements relevant to HR and Legal systems.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00
