Thank you for your interest in Oklo!  We are searching for a Site Project Manager to join the Deployment Team within our Recycling Division.

This is an on-site role in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. 

Position Description

The Site Project Manager is responsible for on-the-ground engagement and coordination of local deployment operations of an industrial facility in Oak Ridge, TN. This includes collaboration with key external stakeholders such as contractors and subcontractors, vendors, local officials and representatives, industrial organizations, and members of the public.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting near-daily visits to build site to meet with contractor representatives, assess performance against plans, and resolve or escalate any identified variances
  • Auditing contractor compliance to safety or quality requirements
  • Identifying potential risks or issues in advance, and develop associated mitigation strategies
  • Hosting stakeholder visits to build site and office
  • Coordinating logistics for a office near the build site
  • Supporting work by Oklo Government Affairs and Community Affairs Teams by representing Oklo at local meetings and events

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, ideally Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
  • Prior experience managing construction projects
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical and design documentation

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience working with energy or nuclear projects

About Oklo travel requirements:

Oklo requires remote employees to travel to headquarters (Santa Clara, CA) twice a quarter annually, based on business or team needs, including attendance at team meetings, off-sites, and other company events or gatherings.

 

About Oklo compensation:

Salary: $85,000-$145,000

About Oklo Inc.: Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy.
