Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for a Service Manager to lead and optimize service operations across multiple sites. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent service delivery while driving operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives. You will manage a team of Service O&M Supervisors, oversee subcontractor performance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Service O&M Supervisors, ensuring safe and consistent service execution across all sites.
  • Plan and allocate resources for regional operations, monitor workloads, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Manage warranty obligations with customers and OEMs, including extensions and claims.
  • Drive regional KPIs (e.g., availability, FTB, Salesforce, claims) and lead root cause analysis for major or recurring incidents.
  • Select and onboard subcontractors, provide input on RFQs, evaluate proposals, and support contract negotiations.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contracts, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements across all countries of operation.
  • Align regional operational expenditures with contractual obligations and cost allocation requirements.
  • Support the Service Director in implementing regional service strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth handovers and adoption of new sites at commercial operation start.
  • Address complex customer and subcontractor concerns using LTSA and O&M contract clauses, proactively resolving ambiguities.
  • Take the commercial lead for additional work, ensuring accurate quoting, billing, and collection, and support upsell opportunities.
  • Manage timely escalation and resolution of issues via JIRA, coordinating ticket priorities across the region.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing regional service operations within the energy or industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing teams.
  • Solid understanding of warranty management and contractual obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor relationships and performance.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Experience in financial oversight and cost allocation for service operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce and JIRA.

Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with long-term service agreements (LTSA) and O&M contracts.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze KPIs and implement corrective actions.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
