The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgiaβs busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
Job Description
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering design, procurement, permitting, and construction phases.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and contract administration teams to define objectives, activity sequencing, and requirements.
Analyze and optimize schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
Support resource planning, including labor, equipment, and materials, ensuring timely availability.
Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to address constraints or deviations.
Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize schedule impacts.
Track project progress and generate regular reports for project management and stakeholders.
Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to evaluate progress and identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure alignment between schedules and project goals.
Manage change control processes, evaluating the impact of modifications on schedules and resources.
Ensure planning and scheduling processes comply with the industryβs best practices and quality standards.
Participate in periodic schedule reviews, updates, narratives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelorβs degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
Strong knowledge with Primavera P6 in scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis and earned value management.
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
Familiarity with DOT projects and public infrastructure contracts is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus.
Certifications PE, PMP, PSP are a plus.
