We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations of the IT infrastructure services. In addition, the Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all system hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve system hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Role will be involved 24/7 Resource with Good Communication Skills & Handled Global Customer
  • Confirms and troubleshoots all alerts from remote monitoring tools, Inbound Care, Ops, or Dev and works to resolve all L2 issues related with our data center, cloud environments, network infrastructure, hardware and/or applications.
  • Monitoring the performance and capacity of computer systems.
  • Performing regular checks on network, System hardware and software.
  • Responding to network alerts and hardware malfunctions.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors.
  • Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports.
  • Manages Incident Communications regarding any Outages, Major Incidents, or Service Center Issues to Ops Managers and other appropriate teams or personnel within SLA (Service Level Agreement) parameters. Performs timely notification updates to middle and senior management electronically and via telephone for extended outages and Maintenance Windows.
  • Regularly participates in the Shift Handover process with previous and incoming shift teams to help sync and transfer any ongoing issues or outages.
  • Available for on-call and emergency response rotation as needed.
  • Managed control protocols for LAN / WAN infrastructure.
  • Ensure proper DHCP, DNS, IP, Firewall, VPN, and server configuration for customer networks.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation.
  • Install and update software patches as required.
  • Monitor systems health and makes recommendations for additional resources and hardware.
  • Candidate must have experience and willingness to share 24x7 support responsibilities with other members of the IT team.

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in NOC Analysts
  • End User support
  • Strong knowledge on Network and Systems technologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a service.
  • Experience in installing, configuring and supporting servers.
  • Basic network administration skills
  • NOC operation
  • Prior experience with working in Windows/Linux Server environment.
  • CCNA and MCSE Certification Would Be added Advantage.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with major course work in Information Science, Computer Science, etc. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 4+ years in NOC L1 Analysts to Supporting infrastructure experience in a diverse range of technology environment
