We are looking for a strategic and impact-driven Sr. Manager, Research and Insights to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, Solutions Marketing and based in San Jose, California. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Research and Insights plays a critical role in providing strategic analysis and forward-looking perspectives to Bloom's executive and commercial teams. This position connects external research, market data, and industry signals to inform business and go-to-market (GTM) strategies, commercial engagement, value proposition, and messaging.

  • Conduct and synthesize market, policy, and technology research to inform strategic planning and business priorities.

  • Deliver evidence-based insights to strengthen Bloom's market narrative and support its market leadership through various channels, including media, policy, and commercial efforts.

  • Track market activity and key market signals to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.

  • Produce concise reports and dashboards that translate data into business implications.

  • Use AI and analytics tools to accelerate data synthesis, trend detection, data gathering and generate forward-looking insights.

  • Partner with analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Bloomberg NEF, Wood Mackenzie) to enhance Bloom’s visibility and influence in external evaluations.

  • Translate findings into clear guidance for value propositions, GTM studies, messaging, work and market positioning.

  • Develop high-quality research outputs—reports, briefs, and data visuals—that translate complex findings into clear, credible narratives. Partner with Communications, Policy, and Brand teams to adapt research into market-facing content supporting media engagement, regulatory positioning, and reputation goals.

  • Maintain a central repository of research and insights accessible to Strategy, Marketing, and Sales teams.

  • Measure impact of insights on business decisions and GTM effectiveness

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years in customer insights or strategy

  • Proven ability to interpret complex data and deliver concise, actionable recommendations.

  • Experience applying AI or analytics to research and intelligence workflows.

  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills for executive audiences.

  • Proficiency with research and BI platforms (Power BI, Statista, Bloomberg, Salesforce).

  • Background in energy or technology markets preferred.

Salary Ranges:

$139,400.00 - $200,600.00
