Job Description
Responsibilities
Oversee project development and acquisition of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in Mexico
Represent Invenergy with partners, customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders
Lead efforts to secure all local, state and/or federal permits, licenses, and authorizations
Coordinate project design, landowner engagement, financial modeling and support commercial offtake negotiations and project financing
Engage and manage third party consultants used in support of resource assessments, project designs, and permitting
Prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules
Drive negotiations and create solutions to project-specific problems and challenges
Prepare periodic project status reports and presentations for management approvals
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree required.
5+ years of direct experience developing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.
Experience building, managing and mentoring teams.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% on a monthly basis
