We are looking for an Operations Senior Finance Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Operations Finance Leader and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

We seek a highly motivated candidate to join our rapidly growing finance organization. This individual will join a team responsible for growing the manufacturing capability of the company over the next 5 years. They will be a key member of the Management Team and will provide strategic guidance as well as day-to-day support for our Manufacturing Operations in Delaware. The role is highly visible across the organization and central to all aspects of product cost management and the financial performance of our operations and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate is expected to have a solid understanding of cost accounting, forecasting, financial analysis with a track record of having supported global manufacturing processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Key part of team tasked with delivering double-digit product cost reductions across all product categories and generations.

  • Financial Leadership for our System Assembly and Repair & Overhaul Service functions in Delaware including oversight and preparation of forecasts and annual budget process, as well as management of actual performance vs forecast / budget.

  • Responsible for key financial aspects of the manufacturing, product costing, inventory, and other key performance indicators while providing insight and analysis for operational decision-making.

  • Develop cost benefit models for new capital projects, track and analyze spend and return on investment performance vs. plan.

  • Provide ongoing evaluation of operating costs and profit margins and advise management on improving efficiency and profitability of the company.

  • Further develop processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information to drive actions.

  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley [SOX], US GAAP and Bloom Energy policies.

  • Be part of creating a high functioning Finance organization fueling Bloom’s growth

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics; MBA/CPA/CMA preferred

  • Minimum of ten years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven track record in leading FP&A and Operations Finance activities in a fast growing, dynamic environment

  • Must have a strong understanding of cost accounting under US GAAP

  • Possess an ability to lead and motivate through influence with excellent communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion a plus
