We are looking for a Manufacturing Scheduling Process Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Production Scheduling Group Manager or Director and will be based on-site in Newark, DE.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing scheduling and production control by identifying opportunities for software automation and workflow analysis.
- Analyze existing manufacturing scheduling processes using data, workflow analysis, and interviews.
- Drives implementation and enhancement of new Planning and Scheduling software to eliminate manual steps and excel based tracking of work orders.
- Establishes the production schedule in the ERP system by firming, releasing and tracking the flow of work orders in the ERP system
- Serves as a single point of contact to the Manufacturing organization on material availability status for assigned production work centers. Works closely with procurement, planning, logistics and other supply chain functions for material status and aligning manufacturing plans and material flow.
- Establishes and maintains ERP item planning parameters including manufacturing lead times, planning time fences, order modifiers and continuously improving data integrity in ERP system
- Ensures accurate and timely set up for manufacturing BOMs for all items. Monitors the integrity between engineering and manufacturing BOMs. Reviews and approves engineering change orders, planning bills of materials and deviation requests.
- Tracks the accuracy of manufacturing routings and works closely with manufacturing engineers on the optimization of all routing steps and standard operations
- Monitors work order aging in the ERP system and continuously drives for reductions in inventory
- Monitors accuracy of plan assumptions daily, communicate required adjustments to the rest of the materials team
- Analyze monthly Inventory Aging reports based on agreed parameters and provide forward visibility on potential issues.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, Inventory Management, Production Planning or a similar role.
- Experience using Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems highly desired.
- Data and software savvy with track record of using software systems to solve routine issues.
- Ability to excel on the manufacturing floor – connecting with assembly technicians, leads, and supervisors
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, process improvements, safety, quality, productivity & cost

Salary Ranges:
$100,000.00 - $144,000.00
