The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.

The Segment Schedule Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules across multiple work segments to ensure alignment with overall project timelines. They will coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to track progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions when needed. Additionally, they will prepare schedule reports, support planning meetings, and help ensure that each segment stays on target to meet key milestones and project objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the segment’s integrated project schedule across all phases (design, procurement, permitting, and construction).

  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to define activity sequencing, critical paths, and key interfaces.

  • Analyze schedule performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.

  • Collaborate on resource planning and allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to support timely execution.

  • Monitor progress and generate detailed reporting (narratives, look-aheads, KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure schedule compliance with contractual requirements, project goals, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 5 years in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.

  • Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred).

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience with self-perform work scheduling is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skill
