Job Description
Position Overview
As a SCADA Engineer, you will work as part of a growing SCADA team that is responsible for maintaining current SCADA infrastructure, integrating new SCADA infrastructure, and providing technical support to a large operating fleet of renewable energy projects throughout North America, Latin America, and Europe.
Responsibilities
Develop skills within the OSI Monarch software suite
Assist senior engineers with implementation of configuration plans for new project startup, including, but not limited to building database from defined points list, Front End Processor configuration, HMI development, and alarm scheme integration as directed
Update legacy databases and HMIs as needed to meet new standards
Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to support database maintenance and operational data integrity
Develop skills with OSIsoft/AVEVA PI software suite to aid in data analyzing and troubleshooting of system processes
Assist in maintaining fleetwide algorithms as directed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or 1+ years of industry related experience
Eligible to work in the US without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Skills
Experience with SCADA software
Generation/Energy Management System experience (OSI Monarch)
Enterprise SCADA experience (Ignition by Inductive Automation)
Programming language knowledge (C, C++, C#, Python, Javascript)
Industrial protocols experience (DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC, SEL FM)
Database/historian experience (SQL, MySQL, OSIsoft/AVEVA PI)
Microsoft Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Base Pay
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 0% - 15%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
