ROLE OVERVIEW


Pivot Energy is seeking a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to join our growing IT team and to lead the development of process efficiencies within our Salesforce CRM instance. This role will be responsible for learning new and existing business processes to translate them into technical solutions. This will include gathering requirements and feedback from users, with the goal of designing best practice solutions. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to learn and grow in this role. The Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifying and gathering business requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Creating and executing development plans
  • Salesforce configuration changes and maintenance, including but not limited to: Flows, page layouts, record types, fields, custom settings, API integrations, dashboards, and reports
  • Managing roles, profiles, sharing rules, and groups
  • Performing database maintenance tasks
  • Documenting processes and training materials
  • Addressing user support tickets
  • New hire and existing employee training
  • Other special projects and/or duties as assigned


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High degree of proficiency with Salesforce development
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills with an aptitude for building rapport
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines 
  • Demonstrate ability to work autonomously 
  • Desire to develop relationships within the organization across teams
  • A proven track record of implementing Salesforce and business improvements 
  • Experience providing excellent user support
  • Ability to develop and implement a training curriculum for employees remotely


PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
  • 2-5 years of Salesforce Administrator experience 
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience

$75,000 - $110,000 a year
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The estimated base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000, depending on relevant experience, along with eligibility for the company’s substantial bonus plan, with a target bonus of 30% of annual salary (prorated in first year based on start date). Compensation will be based on factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
