We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role is critical to enabling our sales organization through the effective management, optimization, and integration of Salesforce and related sales technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring our tools are aligned with business goals, scalable for growth, and user-friendly for our sales team. This role is based in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Administration
    • Manage day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.
    • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
    • Ensure data integrity and hygiene through regular audits and deduplication processes.
    • Manage account hierarchy, user roles, profiles, permissions, security and licenses.
    • Oversee centralized Salesforce.com administration, ensuring changes support stakeholder needs and avoid cross-team disruptions.
    • Lead CRM data structure reviews, audits, and cleanups to ensure accuracy and usability.
  • Sales Tools Management
    • Own the overall tech stack administration and integration of sales tools such as CPQ, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others.
    • Evaluate and recommend new tools to incorporate/deprecate to improve sales productivity and reporting.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships and renewals.
    • Integrate AI-driven tools to support sales productivity, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Process Optimization
    • Scale our Salesforce architecture to match evolving business needs and GTM motion.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to streamline lead-to-cash processes.
    • Support sales enablement initiatives by ensuring tools are configured to support sales playbooks and workflows.
    • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for end users; provide onboarding and ongoing sales tool training.
    • Recommend areas to improve sales efficiency and productivity throughout the sales cycle.
    • Build a long-term CRM and RevOps systems roadmap aligned with business growth.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into lead attrition, pipeline, performance, and productivity.
    • Partner with Business Operations, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and quota tracking.

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience administering Salesforce in a B2B environment, preferably in hardware, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience with sales tools such as CPQ, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms. Ironclad a plus.
  • Experience architecting Salesforce.com environments for both pre-IPO and publicly traded companies, with a strong understanding of audit and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience supporting a field sales team or channel sales model.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with API integrations and basic knowledge of Apex or Flow.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Admin or other Salesforce certifications a plus.

$142,400.00 - $213,600.00
