Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Labor Relations Manager with deep expertise in multi-regional construction and union environments. This role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships with labor unions, managing collective bargaining agreements, and resolving complex employee relations matters. Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)

  • Lead and support negotiations of CBAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements

  • Manage internal investigations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with union leadership and shop stewards

  • Collaborate with Legal Counsel and cross-functional teams on employee relations matters

  • Provide strategic consultation to leadership on labor relations issues

  • Conduct training, presentations, and public speaking engagements

  • Coach and influence leaders in a matrixed environment

  • Travel Requirement: 25 - 40%

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, or Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects involving trade unions

  • Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments

  • Strong background in private sector labor relations

  • Exceptional negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills

  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience developing and leveraging relationships in a matrixed organization

  • Ability to manage multiple complex investigations simultaneously

  • Strategic, systems-level thinking and consulting capabilities

$115,977.00 - $154,250.00
