The Quality Manager at Last Energy Inc. will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while maintaining and promoting high productivity. This role is critical to ensuring that our modular nuclear energy solutions meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. The Quality Manager will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and project management, to maintain quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective and value-add Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable standards and company needs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those set by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other relevant authorities
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality standards
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies
  • Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and validation of components and systems to ensure they meet design and regulatory specifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and records
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services meet Last Energy’s quality standards
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the energy or manufacturing sectors
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing processes, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, or project locations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a strong focus on innovation and safety
