As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production processes and products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring manufacturing operations, identifying deviations, and supporting immediate corrective actions to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

In your daily work, you will perform inspections, analyze quality issues using structured methodologies such as QRQC, 5Why, or PDCA, and collaborate closely with production and quality engineering teams to resolve discrepancies. Your contribution will directly impact the reliability and safety of our advanced battery systems.

You will also support continuous improvement activities by enforcing quality standards, participating in shift handovers, and driving a strong quality mindset across the organization. Acting as a key point of control on the production floor, you will have the authority to stop production or quarantine materials when non-conformities are detected, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.

In this role, your attention to detail, technical understanding, and proactive approach will help ensure that our products meet the expectations of both the market and our customers while supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in accordance with safety system guidelines

  • Work in accordance with the guidelines of the lean management, quality management system and environmental management based on the internal procedures and instructions

  • Implementing quality standards and quality mindset in the organization

  • Co-creating and developing procedures and instructions within the company's quality processes

  • Control of the production process, validation of compliance with the applicable documentation (standards, procedures, instructions, and Control Plan)

  • QRQC analysis of quality problems and implementation of actions

  • Knowledge of and supervision over the implementation of modifications
    and derogations

  • Working in PDCA cycle with active participation in shift handovers and reporting key KPIs

  • Reporting of inspection results

  • Supervision of sorting, reworking, or repairing

  • Verification of equipment calibration

  • Verification of tooling used by production

  • Clarification of quality discrepancies together with a dedicated quality engineer

  • Location management with non-compliant product

  • Strict maintenance of 5S standards on the production floor, in the quality laboratory, and for tool trolleys

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the manager to support the company’s growth and evolving needs

Accountability/Authorization

  • Budget responsibility: No

  • Direct reports: No

  • Stop the production process if a non-conformance is detected that endangers occupational safety, results in non-conforming products, and/or may result in a customer complaint

  • Stop and recall defective material from production, defective semi-finished and finished products

  • Requiring colleagues and their superiors to provide the necessary information and take action to discharge their responsibilities properly and in a timely manner

  • Authorized to report any quality, environment or health and safety nonconformities, ideas, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

  • Min. 2-3 years working in manufacturing environment on a similar position (experience in battery, automotive, or FMCG sectors is a distinct advantage)

  • Minimum secondary technical education in mechanics, mechatronics, machine building, or a related field

  • Previous experience in the battery manufacturing sector is a huge advantage

  • Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, electrical assembly, and thermal management is a plus

  • Ability to read technical documentation and electrical schematics.

  • Command of spoken and written English at level that allows you to communicate freely with foreign customers or team members

  • Command of spoken and written Polish at level that allows you to communicate freely with people who do not speak English

  • Computer skills: proficient in MS Office suite

  • Experience in using measuring tools

  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, PDCA) and other World Class Manufacturing standards, with the flexibility to apply specific tools as required by the client.

  • Readiness to work in a shift system.

Specific skills

  • Knowledge of the problem-solving methodologies 8D (8 Disciplines), 5xWhy, PDCA, QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) and others required by the customer

  • Knowledge of the basics of the manufacturing processes carried out in company allowing for unconstrained analysis of the quality problems and quality assessment of these processes and products

  • Knowledge of electronics and manufacturing processes allows us to freely analyze quality problems and evaluate the quality of these processes, products, and materials

  • Proven knowledge of the ISO9001:2015 standard

  • Proven knowledge of the ISO14001:2015 standard

  • Practical experience working with ERP system is an advantage

  • Forklift operator license is an advantage

  • SEP electrical certification is an advantage
