Department Overview

Quality Team focuses on evaluating and developing project requirements at the initiation stage to formulate a comprehensive project plan, timeline, and budget, while integrating feedback from the cross-functional team to develop products.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide input and support creation of 3D printed manufacturing aids to help ensure product conformity to quality standards.

  • Conduct line audits using standard templates to highlight process gaps and best practices. The quality engineering intern will report findings and make recommendations towards station improvements to reduce variation within current processes.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to ensure overall product quality.

  • Component sampling and presentation of findings to quality engineering. The quality engineering intern will be required to provide both quantitative and qualitative sampling data in a concise format.

  • Support Quality Engineers in testing of in-process products according to internal standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Engineering bachelors’ program or advanced degree. Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.

  • Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter

  • Strong independent problem solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Solidworks preferred

  • Coursework or past background in statistics preferred

  • Minimum GPA 3.0

  • Authorized to work 40 hours or more each week
