A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Project Manager North American Infrastructure Operations will have the proven ability to lead and direct project teams and run multiple large complex projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating all resources throughout the lifecycle of the projects by using management techniques to achieve predetermined objectives of scope, quality, time, cost, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for daily coordination of all aspects of the project and act as the communications link between the project teams and Program Leaders. This professional is responsible for completing projects with accuracy while monitoring project performance and meeting or exceeding expectations.
Essential Functions:
This position reports into the Principal, Capital Projects & Manufacturing Transformation and has no direct reports
This role requires up to 40% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays
Flexible schedule depending on amount of travel
Manages project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Develops project management plans, project documentation, work breakdown structures, project schedules, integrated master schedules, financial reports, and risk management documentation
Prepares charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing and effectively presenting information
Reviews risk and risk mitigation activities of the project and proposes budgets for the same
Coordinates schedules to facilitate completion of task and contract deliverables, briefings/presentations, and project reviews
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project
Ensures compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements
Manages project scope and objectives, and organizes, coordinates, and implements the project
Provides day-to-day project direction, ensuring quality standards, project tracking, and analysis of assigned aspects of assigned project
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
Ability to produce program-level status reports working with Program Manager North American Operations
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:
Preferred Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in Project Management or Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience in Project Management
Required Travel – 40%, can fluctuate depending on Project load
Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and concepts
Displays strong organizational, critical thinking, and team building skills
Proficient in managing all aspects of the project management life cycle
Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change
Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, MS Teams, MS Project)
Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
Experience in Lean Methodology a plus
Related Project Management experience within Manufacturing preferred
