We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Production Team Lead.
As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team in the department. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing and assembly of vehicles.
Requirements:
- Strong contributor to mobilize team toward production goals
- Fostering collaborative cross-functional activities and engagement (including with Quality and Engineering teams) in face-paced environment with emphasis on exceptional results-oriented customer service model.
- Organize and prioritize the team's tasks, ensuring the timely completion of production within quality standards.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of applicable departments manufacturing processes.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Monitor and assist with work areas adherence to 6s standards of workplace organization.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, production, logistics, and quality, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Train new team members on production procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
- Escalate any issues or challenges encountered, keeping the management informed.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components required
- Keep production running safely while producing quality parts efficiently.
- Respond to downtime issues and help team members resolve issue and close out concerns.
- Partner with salaried and hourly team members and coordinate activities to continuously improve.
- Learn all operations within area of responsibility and ensure each job has required number of trained and versatile team members.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Team Member
- Minimum of 6 months in current role with no written concerns on file, including Disciplinary or Attendance.
- Progressively increasing responsibilities and demonstrated knowledge of production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong knowledge of hiring departmentβs manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, driving them towards achieving project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and handle pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
