About the Role

The Product Inventory Control Specialist will be a key contributor within Base Power warehouse and manufacturing operation teams Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting material flow of our C-build prototypes, driving continuous improvement in inventory control processes. Ensuring that the right parts and products are available at the right time to support manufacturing, service, or distribution operations

This position involves a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse, including manufacturing, cycle counts and inventory control, organizing materials, operating equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and performing physical labor.

What You'll Do

  • Perform regular cycle counts (daily/weekly) of inventory items, raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, consumables, and reconcile inventory variances.

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions in partnership with warehouse, production, maintenance, quality, finance, and purchasing teams.

  • Maintain, monitor, and update inventory data in ERP Odoo systems of all C-billed materials to ensure real-time accuracy of stock levels and locations.

  • Support kitting of parts or assembly kits (based on BOMs) for scheduled production or maintenance work orders; ensure materials are staged and available when needed.

  • Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, and receiving teams to ensure adequate material levels, avoid shortages, and manage inbound/outbound inventory flows.

  • Audit warehouse locations for correct slotting, labeling, compliance with best practices, and ensure that non-conforming or aged inventory is identified and handled.

  • Operate or be certified to operate mobile equipment as required (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), lift up to specified weights, and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with appropriate safety practices.


What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in inventory control, in high-volume operations experience preferred.

  • Experience using inventory control systems/ERPs such as SAP, WARP, MOS/MES, NetSuite, Odoo is a plus

  • Strong computer literacy: Excel (intermediate), Google doc, data analysis capabilities.

  • High attention to detail, strong analytical/problem-solving mindset, ability to investigate discrepancies and drive resolution.

  • Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and certification on forklift or mobile equipment within a certain timeframe.

  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field—or equivalent experience. Knowledge of BOMs, manufacturing parts, is a plus

  • Experience in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, lean-manufacturing or warehouse optimization.

  • Experience with cycle-count programs and extensive variance reconciliation.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) for collaborating across functions and reporting to leadership.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Warehouse/manufacturing site environment:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk up to 3 miles per day, bend, lift items up to 75+ lbs

  • Ability to operate mobile equipment or be certified within a time frame.

  • May involve multiple shifts, early mornings, or overtime depending on operations.

  • Fast-paced environment with changing priorities; may require tight coordination and adherence to process controls.

Entry-Level: $22-$24

Mid-Level: $25-$27

RSUs: $1,300 Annually (5-year vest)
