We are looking for a Production Control Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Manager, Production Control and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Produce manufacturing plans that ensure alignment with critical supply and customer shipments
  • Identify and mitigate risks and areas for improvement in build and shipment plans across the organization
  • Launch and maintain manufacturing system buffers to ensure upstream disruptions have minimal impact on downstream activities
  • Identify tools and software solutions that can automate alignment between customer demand data and strategic business plans for manufacturing and operations
  • Develop/implement tools for increasing automation of data collection infrastructure
  • Create contingency plans and recovery actions for exceptions to the plan
  • Create and own operations plans to ensure connection between manufacturing completion and shipment execution
  • Support Production Control leadership and team
  • Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer demand and internal goal
  • Track performance to plans across all manufacturing areas.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve material and information flow
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely customer shipments

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Ability to clearly display and communicate data and information
  • Ability to make connections between complex processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with optimizing business processes using structured methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, Theory of Constraints etc. desirable
  • Ability to program in SQL and/or analytics dashboards preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or related field strongly preferred
  • Relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools. (Oracle Cloud preferred)

Salary Ranges:

$100,000.00 - $144,000.00
