Job Description
The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgiaβs busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
The Power BI Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide critical insights into project performance metrics, scheduling, financial data, and other KPIs. This role will work closely with the project management, controls, engineering, and finance teams to turn complex data into actionable intelligence, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all project functions.
Required Skills and Competencies
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain customized Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to various project stakeholder needs.
Integrate data from multiple sources including Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, SQL databases, and other construction/project management systems.
Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and performance.
Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate Power BI with other enterprise systems.
Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are maintained in all reporting outputs.
Participate in data audits and troubleshooting to ensure the integrity of all data outputs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3β5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or data visualization, preferably in a construction or infrastructure project environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
Experience working with construction management software and project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Aconex) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced project setting.
