Freedom Power is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Operations Scheduler to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the central hub for coordinating and optimizing schedules across multiple operational functions—including rooftop installation crews, site assessments, electricians, utility shutdowns, and service work. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, maximizing crew productivity, and delivering a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication, analytical, and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Own and manage the installation scheduling pipeline, ensuring crews are scheduled efficiently, proactively, and with full consideration of project requirements
  • Coordinate closely with Regional Operations Managers to align schedules with project scope, crew capacity, and regional priorities
  • Own and manage site assessment scheduling queue, ensuring quick turnaround times and full utilization of assessor capacity
  • Own and manage the electrician scheduling queue based on regional timelines and project needs
  • Coordinate and schedule all utility shutdowns with applicable providers
  • Own and manage the scheduling for deinstallations and reinstallations, collaborating closely with the Service team
  • Own and manage the scheduling queue for service work where necessary
  • Communicate directly with customers when necessary regarding scheduling updates, timelines, and service expectations
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, efficiency, and communication workflows


Qualifications:
    • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
    • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Preferred (but not required)
  • Familiarity with multi-crew or multi-trade scheduling (e.g., electricians, installers, service techs)
  • Experience using scheduling or CRM software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Skedulo or similar tools)
  • Experience coordinating with utility companies, permitting offices, or inspection processes
  • Knowledge of solar, construction, or home services industries


Physical

This position is a fully office-based role. The job primarily requires sitting for extended periods, working at a computer, and performing routine administrative tasks. Occasional standing, walking within the office, and light movement may be required.
