Fluence is seeking an India Operations EHS Lead to play a vital role in supporting the implementation of corporate environmental, health, and safety policies and programs. As a member of the Global EHS & Facility function, this position will provide EHS subject matter expertise to Fluence Operations in India including Global Innovation Center (GIC), Bangalore. The role is hands-on in EHS management, ensuring compliance for India operations.
The successful candidate will apply developed subject matter expertise to resolve unique and moderately complex EHS implementation issues within established processes, recommending suitable solutions or alternative methods to ensure compliance. The India Operations EHS Lead will provide EHS oversight on operational activities, facilitate EHS decision-making in support of stakeholders, and support global initiatives including audits and evaluations as needed. Independence is required, with minimal day-to-day supervision, yet the ability to seek guidance for more complex decisions. Travel may be required.
This team member will assist EHS Operations for the Global Innovation Centre (GIC), Product Manufacturing, Project Delivery & Services, and Test Lab management in India.
