In the summer of 2021, Repsol expanded its renewables operations to the US through the acquisition of a large U.S.-based PV solar and battery storage project developer. This transaction was Repsol's first foray into the U.S. renewables market. In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (βRRSNAβ) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Operations and Maintenance Intern for our summer program to join our team!

This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 18, 2026 β August 7, 2026, in Downtown Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of analysis and reporting for key activities and projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; reviews reporting packages and documents
- Assist in compiling of weekly executive summary and key performance indicator reports
- Use independent judgment to analyze data and make recommendations for changes to support significant business initiatives and to drive critical business decisions
- Identifies areas for process improvement through data analysis and strategic thinking
- Assist in the documentation of current and future-state processes to create support for changes through flowcharts, business requirements documents, data definitions, etc.
- Supports the development, documentation, and implementation of new procedures
- Produces custom reports and analysis
- Prepare and present progress reports to the management and leadership teams
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with all teams on the project.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
- Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in undergraduate or graduate electrical engineering or a related discipline degree program.
- Understanding the fundamentals of solar operations and maintenance
