Job Description

Position Overview

Lead operational teams focused on safety, quality, and profitability. Set goals and pursue objectives aligned with Invenergy’s business, acting as a change agent and thought leader.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous improvement of safety standards with a focus on prevention, continual education, and training of the O&M team.

  • Focal contact point to customers, coworkers and stakeholders

  • Maintain relationship with the Client’s key personnel and identify new contractual opportunities.

  • Ensure profitability of the O&M business unit focusing on resource optimizations and cost control.

  • Lead the definition of O&M business main goals, KPI’s and report monthly results to company’s Senior Leadership.

  • Collaborate with Procurement team to identify and develop suppliers related to material and services for minor and major component exchanges.

  • Work with teams from other Invenergy regions sharing best practices and lessons learned.

  • Implement high standards of quality on services execution and maintain ISO certifications (9001, 14001 and 450001).

  • Ensure O&M activities are performed in compliance with Company policies and applicable norms and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (Electrical Engineering or Automation and Control as a differential)

  • Minimum 10 years overall work experience in engineering, operations, and/or maintenance, with at least 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience leading operations teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of service activities across multiple wind turbine platforms/different OEMs.

  • Understanding of Brazilian wind energy market and its key players.

  • Knowledge of Brazil wind industry supply chain (suppliers of: cranes, services, parts, repair shops, among others).

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Able to Travel 40% of the time.

  • Able to prepare annual budgets and report results to operations director.

  • Bilingual: Portuguese and English proficiency (Spanish desirable).

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
