We are looking for a Materials & Systems Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Manager, Materials and Systems and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the right parts are delivered to the right location at the right time to sustain Bloom manufacturing activities while maintaining software system integrity for all transactions.
  • Align systems transactions and materials movement and achieve zero variation between physical and logical. Support IT and software development team in integrating new systems for materials planning and scheduling.
  • Manage and empower the materials team to track, monitor and improve the key measurables utilizing the team approach and continuous improvement tools.
  • Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance inventory fill rates to production.
  • Oversee and organize the excess and obsolete reporting and optimize inventory performance metrics (aging, FIFO, scrap, cycle count)
  • Lead assigned integration and implementation of digital technologies, including MES, AI, and advanced data analytics.
  • Work with Engineering to establish work instructions and standardized work for optimum performance to quality and delivery requirements.
  • Conduct value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, and other Lean tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives and eliminate waste.

Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience, with specific experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics
  • Basic knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle or similar environment), forecasting/capacity, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus
  • Expertise with Material Resource Planning systems and planning concepts
  • Data and software savvy with track record of using software systems to solve routine issues
  • Clear logical thinker with ability to streamline workflow and business processes in a warehouse or factory setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and investigate inaccurate inventory counts.
  • Detail oriented, organized person who is adamant about accuracy and process adherence.
  • Confidence to uphold best practices within multiple warehouse locations.
  • Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate.
  • Understanding of the flow of material into the warehouse, onto the production floor and out to testing and final shipment (logistics oriented)
  • Dependability, which includes reliability and conscientiousness.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes quickly

Physical Requirements:

  • Flexibility to support multiple shifts, in multiple facilities in the Newark, DE area based on production needs.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas
  • Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces when required
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment when required

Salary Ranges:

$73,000.00 - $105,000.00
